With over 10 years' experience in SME Impact investment in Southern and Eastern Africa, Tendai joined the team in 2022. As ACT Africa Representative, Tendai is involved in the entire investment lifecycle—ranging from project origination and due diligence to structuring, disbursement, and monitoring—focusing on food and agribusiness projects that promote sustainability and economic development in emerging markets. Before joining the CFC, Tendai was an Investment Analyst at AlmaStone UK, where he contributed to closing debt investments in the food security value chain across East and Southern Africa. Prior to that, he gained experience at Afreximbank, focusing on evaluating financial institutions across Africa and facilitating liquidity programs for on lending to SMEs.
